I was born in Athens in 1976 (I confess that I wrote the date and deleted it many times). I studied Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Dimitris Mytaras from 1994 to 2000, when I graduated with honors. I was also taught Scenography, Mosaic, Engraving and attended the theoretical courses of Art History, History of Architecture, Graphic Arts, Materials Technology as well as Pedagogy, Psychology of Education and Art Teaching. In the fall of 2000, I attended Edinburgh College of Art with Glen Onwin. During my studies I worked Hagiography (mainly portable icons but also murals) and Mosaic in Greece, Cyprus and London. From 2003 to 2011 I worked in elementary schools as an artist. I have participated in several group exhibitions and I have made 4 solo exhibitions. From November 2019 to March 2020 and from November 2020 to March 2021 I attended a Creative Writing seminar with professor and writer Nikos Davvetas. Around the time I kept my first pencil I have filled notebooks and folders of all sizes with fairy tales, poetry, drafts for novels, short stories and extensive diaries, all hidden in an extremely messy drawer. A few years ago I started writing a children's novel and from that moment I refuse to stop. I illustrate with pencil wood paints , as I did when I was little.
