I paint with gestures evoking emotion. I am inspired by archaic inspiration coming from the inner signs, symbols, and memories understood at some level by all of us. I typically build up layers and often deconstruct. Each layer is its own free, emotive, personal composition loosely based on previous layers. My goal is to create paintings that are less related to objective reality, and more related to communicating selfless perspectives.
