Mihaela Năstase is a modern contemporary Romanian artist based in Bucharest with a declared passion for handmade paper collage. Since she was little, Mihaela was fascinated by pop art and found her inspiration in famous artists, such as Roy Lichtenstein or Andy Warhol, but also in glossy magazines and popular videos from the 90s, so new to her adolescence. eyes, once the communist regime disappeared. In fact, Mihaela Năstase entered the art of collage even before she had that concept, since in the 4th grade she started sending small collages to her friends and colleagues in the form of stamped letters. Later, after graduating from the Faculty of Law at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest, he started his own business and got engaged, so he left his imaginative side behind. Only after a painful breakup did he return to his first love, the art of collage. Now Mihaela focuses on expressing her creative force through paper collage with her two wonderful children and her lover who supports and inspires her, rearranging on the immaculate white paper the pieces that build her life and dreams.
